Job Description

Edaptive Computing, Inc. (ECI) is currently seeking a Junior C#/ASP.NET Software Engineer. The Edaptive Computing Junior Software Engineer develops and tests enterprise C#/ASP.NET applications.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop, and test enterprise C#/ASP.NET web applications
Works as a member of project teams to implement designs to meet customer requirements
Stay current on trending development technologies and offer ideas for improvement to systems and processes

Qualitative Requirements

Some knowledge software engineering best practices and techniques
Some knowledge of software design patterns and best practices
Capability to work independently and as a member of a project team
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Excitement and eagerness to learn new technology
Desire to work in an Agile software development environment

Educational and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required
Computer Science degree or technical training in computer programming
Experience with object-oriented programming languages
Some understanding of C#/ASP.NET Enterprise software architecture components and patterns

Desired Qualifications

HTML/CSS (LESS or SASS)
JavaScript
Entity Framework
Web API
Visual Studio experience (coding, debugging, etc.)
Web Forms and/or MVC
Designing applications for cloud deployments
Automated/scripted testing platforms
Test Driven Development
SQL Server
XML and/or JSON familiarity
Source Control (Git or SVN)
