      Job Description:

      Edaptive Computing, Inc. (ECI) is currently seeking a Technical Product Owner to lead the definition, prioritization, and delivery of innovative software and hardware-enabled solutions supporting DoD and commercial customers.

      The Technical Product Owner will serve as the primary interface between stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership, ensuring that products deliver maximum value while aligning with mission objectives, technical constraints, and program goals.

      The Technical Product Owner will be in a dynamic scrum and CI/CD software environment that will oversee software from inception through deployment. Will be responsible for ensuring cost, schedule and performance constraints are met.

      Primary Responsibilities

      • Define and manage the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for technical solutions
      • Translate customer and mission needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
      • Work closely with engineering teams in an Agile Scrum environment to ensure successful product delivery
      • Prioritize backlog items based on business value, technical feasibility, and program objectives
      • Serve as the voice of the customer and ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations
      • Participate in and help facilitate Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives
      • Collaborate with technical lead, project manager and Solution lead to balance innovation, risk, and delivery timelines
      • Track product progress, identify risks, and drive timely resolution of issues
      • Support proposal development, customer engagement, and product demonstrations
      • Stay current on emerging technologies and apply insights to product strategy

      Qualitative Requirements

      • Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies
      • Ability to bridge technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
      • Experience working with complex systems (software, hardware, or integrated solutions)
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
      • Leadership mindset with ability to influence without direct authority
      • Excitement and eagerness to learn new technologies

      Educational and Experience Requirements:

      • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related
      • 5+ years of experience in product ownership, systems engineering, or technical program roles
      • Experience working in Agile Scrum environments
      • Experience with DoD programs or government customers
      • Familiarity with software development lifecycle and/or hardware development processes
      • Experience writing user stories, managing backlogs, and defining acceptance criteria
      • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (if required)
      • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar


      Enhancing Qualifications:

      • Bonus if familiar with DoD processes and cloud systems
      • Experience with AI/ML-driven products or data-driven systems
      • Experience with microelectronics, FPGA/ASIC, or hardware verification environments
      • Familiarity with digital engineering, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE).
      • Experience supporting R&D, or advanced technology programs
      • Experience in cybersecurity or secure systems for DoD
